Walked into my LGS where I purchased my Sport this morning and walked out with a 'bulk' 1000 round box of Federal 223 55gr FMJ!

Now I can really hit the range and do some shooting over the summer.

Total cost = $399.99 + tax (not bad considering the current situation.)

It's like Christmas in April.

Nice score! I haven't found anything around here... I'm getting a bit freaked out. :(

Cabela's today had at least 100bx of Herters .223, and bunch of 50rd Boxes of Black Hills

1 snagged 5bxs of 100rd 9mm.....

Only 5 box limit... But now i am Good on 9mm..... and i re-load .223 so am Fine there as well

It is getting better... slowly.. but it is

What time do you guys check the Cabelas site? I checked around 9pm central and no .223 or 9 mm

I just bought 5 boxes of brass Herters 223 at the Ft. Worth Cabelas for $9.99 each. They had quite a bit of it in stock.

I live 1 mile away.. so I go Live when they open at 9am

Online is a totaly different animal for sure..... **** shoot if anything

Sweet! I grew up in Spokane - what store did you find it in?

You did WELL on your .223. I bought 1000 case of PMC .223 55grn, the first week of August of last year for $309. You got an outstanding deal for this day and time. Don't forget him at Christmas this year!

i've been rationing myself 100 rounds of .223 at a time to shoot. I now have stopped .223 shooting for awhile with about 750 in reserve. 9mm from my range are $165/500. That is what I shoot for now, along with some .22lr. It IS getting better very slowly.

I wont pay Midway usa $33 for .22lr when there is a 1 case limit, and $16 to ship.

I just came back from the newest Cabela's, which is outside Columbus Ohio, and they had a sign up saying sorry no 22,9mm,223 and about 4 other calibers. They had no 1522's, AR15's, takedown ruger 1022's, 22 bullets,223 brass, powder. It was the same two weeks ago at the Cabela's in Charleston WVA.

LGS had a facebook post this am that they were increasing per diem box buy to 5 since they had ample supply. I was out already running some errands before work and just a mile away so I stopped by. Had Independence .223 for 11.99 a box which is about $3 high based on area "big box". Reasonable IMO, not cheap, but reasonable given the climate.

I'm here in Spokane as well..
What store, if you don't mind sharing...
I just picked up the same federal bulk ammo at white elephant in the valley..
It was a little more.. At $499.00 +tax for 1000 rounds...
At least it looks like it might be coming around thou....

I pick up my limit of 60 rounds of 223 (3 box limit) every week at my LGS as well as a new PMag ($14.50) like clock work.

It's not as nice as picking up a bulk box like that, but it adds up.

Ad that to the 223 I trade for or pick randomly via local sales and I'm doing OK. I'd like to have twice what I have, but it seems no matter how much one has, we'd all like to have double! :D

Just picked up the 5 box limit at Cabela's here in Michigan of PMC .223 for $8.99 a box. I thought that was pretty good.
