Took my 22A to the range today shot my 2nd box of Federal 525
value pack only had one ftf out 1050 rounds. This is one sweet gun. Took my sigma 9mm to, shot 150 rounds of WWB whith no problems.

I have both of those pistols and love them both. Inexpensive doens't mean not a good value.

This may have already been mention before but I had great success polishing the feed ramp. I used just about all kinds of CCI, Super X, Federal bulk, Wolf match and Remington military surplus with very few issues. Sometimes a couple of FTF's but that is the norm for rimfire. Mine is an absolute tack driver. Put one of those cheap reflex sights on it and what a difference it made for me!

justthe federal got my 22a-1 and have 350 rds. down it. half remington thunderbolt and half federal bulk and the federal is having ftf fte issues. I thought it was because it was a new gun and not broke in yet but the remington ran flawlessly. other than that i like my new .22

i ran about 400 rds of mixed ammo, it was all different ammo just dumped in a plastic box from sub sonic to rems's, federals, goldens, lead nose, hollow points etc. this was due to having my 3 year old grandson sitting on the floor with me whiled i was wiping down some .22's and pulled a few boxes of different ammo off the shelf and he decided to open all the boxes and dump them on the floor! well i was not about to go through and look at each primer and separate them out so it was a surprise shooting.
my 22a was the main shooter since it was it's first outing, then my MKII, then 15-22, then a P22. I was amazed that when i was done i had only had one failure to fire due to a dud. the 22a ate everything and i had not even cleaned it before firing, just ran a patch down to ensure no barrel obstruction. thing is accurate also with just irons.
i have a C-more coming in this weed so it will be like the MKII and really will hit the steel then.
amazing for such an inexpensive gun. i got the 22a-1 with the black/silver laminate grips. i did find that i did not like having to stick my finger all the way up into the grip to set the mag so i chopped off about a 1/2 inch off the bottom at an angle on the band saw so that the mag sits flush. much better, same grip.
all guns fired excellent. all are suppressed except for the 22a and i don't know if i can get a threaded barrel for it.
anyone know?

I have noticed exactly the same thing with my 22A. It loved the Remingtons and hated the Federals.

I did the same thing--amazingly accurate, especially when you consider the price! Wonder how much better the model 41 is?
