This project started about 12 weeks ago. My good buddy Jim Brewster sent me a link to this gun on gunbroker. I decided to throw a bid with the idea " I'll never win at this price"....well I was wrong. She was rough.....and I mean rough. I decided I couldn't live with it as is and made it custom. I love N frame RB, combat grips and "target options". I threw all those ideas at it and this is what popped out.

A special thanks to my father, without him it would not have looked this good. He has been a gunsmith for 35 years and is a true craftsman. I was stuck to do the "bull" work, he did the finish/detail work to save me some money at the bluers. Thanks Dad, add it to my bill!

Enjoy fellas......who knows I may even part ways with this one and start a new project........

AFTER.....FINAL PRODUCT!!!

Hoping to make it to the range this weekend to see how it shoots/handles. I expect nothing less than pure enjoyment!

Hello Dot, you ruined "492". I have a 27 very similar. You know Im just kidding so I dont get hackles all up in the air. Nice job at a rescue. I did like the custom engraving. You know like the Colt Ranch guns. Ranch 492. Best
