I wish you lived closer, I would let you polish on mine a while.
It looks good.

Looks good. As long as they don't have any deep gouges a little elbow grease can bring the stainless guns back from the hurt locker. If no mechanical issues are present in the gun than it is certainly worth taking on as a home project versus sending to the factory.

About how many hours did it take to polish?
I'd like mine to look like that, but I don't think I would have the patience to do it.

Dude, that there is a purty gun.

Looking good

I purchased a Model 66 last fall, have not shot it yet, I think I will try your Mothers polish on it to see if I can add some luster to it. Thanks for posting.

Have both the polish and the 3". Do you mind if I ask how far down did you strip her? Did you leave in the frame plate screws? Leave in the rear sights?

Back and forth motion, not circular? Not that I want to get Cerberus62 excited. :D I didn't hear any banjo's.

Not that anyone seems to care but wouldn't a 66-2 rightly belong in the earlier forum...pre-1980? Asking as much for my own education as anything.

66-2

I used Mothers wheel polish and put it on with my fingers in a circular motion, also I did not take any of the plates off it took me about a hour to do it. One of the other members on here told me how to do it amd thanks for all the likes.
