Well owning and using 10+ rd mags isn't illegal, building or transfering them if you never had any is which is why I need to block them to 10. Blocking them is pretty straight forward you get a spacer and jb weld and screw the spacer to the base plate and all it does is restrict the follower travel from accepting more than 10rds. You can also cross pin them for the same effect.

Sorry for the questions or diverting this thread but I don't understand the exact legalities involved in this.

How would anyone know you never had any? I am not sure how jb weld or a screw is a permanent modification.

Essentially no one would really no unless a LEO checked or happened to be sitting next to you counting shots. Just ordered 6 from Bayou. Thanks for that as I was having a hard time finding them anywhere that I trust. USPS 'lost' the last 4 I ordered (Grrrr).
