I picked up a 5-screw Hand Ejector pistol and the barrel is pitted. I would like to know what barrel do I order off of Numrick web page.

You want to order from the Military & Police page. I just checked and it dosen't appear that Numrich has a .32-20 barrel in stock.
What length barrel does your .32-20 have? I may have one stashed away.

It is a 4in.
How badly is it pitted, and how does it shoot? If it is a tack driver like most 32-20's I've owned then why bother. There are lots of "frosted", "pitted" barrels that shoot like there's no tomorrow.
If you have not shot it yet I would before I did anything else.

I slugged the bore and it is bad pitted and worn. The slugged mic at .315. I cast for it and it is key holing. The gun is very tight. But the bluing is gone.

Slugging the bore isn't shooting the gun. We sometimes imagine problems that just don't exist. Often a pitted barrel or even one with a bulge shoots just as good as a "perfect" barrel.
I resisted using the bulge word, but I have seen those shoot well too.

I suggest you clean the barrel as best you can then shoot it and see how it does..,Many 32-20 barrels were eaten up by black powder....TIN..

I have shot the pistol and it is key-holing at 10 yards with a cast .314 90gr lead bullet and also with a 115 gr lead.
Numrich won't have any but there are usually several for sale on Gunbroker. Popperts gunparts lists them. You can look them up and contact them directly or you can search for their auction listings. Last time I looked, they had them for 1899, 1902 and 1905 K frame varieties. Some new, some good used and some never factory polished.
Keep an eye out on Ebay too. I have seen several come up there over the past few months.

Would a barrel for a 32 long work? It should be the same diameter. Just more options.

Good luck finding one of those. Yes, it should work, with the only drawback being the wrong roll stamp on the barrel. The problem will be finding one of the few K32s that want to give up their barrel, or one of the early M&P 32 longs. Those are clearly hens teeth.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I dont think key holing is a result of pitting..If you are using home brewed ammo,,it could be a case of insufficient powder charge.. Try some jacketed bullets,,they might do better...TIN...

You are right. They are two things that will make bullet key hole. First insufficient powder charge. Second the bore being worn.

I've been saving this one for a special project, but it does have one problem... it's broken...
Seriously, to the OP... I suggest that in your search for a replacement barrel for your .32-20 (AKA: .32 Winchester, AKA: .32 WCF) hand ejector, that you pay some attention to the sights.
Later .32-20 HE's will have a flat-top frame such as this.....
... and a correspondingly thicker front sight such as this.
Earlier guns have a "round top" frame with the tiny notch rear sight and paper thin front sight blade.
Just a tip is all.... good luck!

One other thing will make them keyhole but usually not on a handgun is incorrect twist rate for the length of the bullet.

I saw your post and the fact that you might have a hand ejector barrel stashed away in .32-20 that you'd like to part with?
I have a 4" 2nd model that has a badly pitted bore. I tried shooting cast and it loads up real bad as well as flings them all over the place. The jacketted bullets keyhole so it's just sitting here wanting me to get another barrel onto it. It's a nickel plated model but that wouldn't matter. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
