Hey guys, I've herd rumors at the LGS that there is a sig 220 holster that the 3913 will fit in. Is this true? I want to order a kydex body for my CompTac MTAC Minotaur holster but they don't make them for the 3913. Any ideas?
The P220 would be too large. The holsters for the Sig P228, on the other hand should be just right. You could fit check it at a LGS or the like to make sure before ordering.
When a particular holster is hard to find, a Dremel tool and hot water will work wonders on a Kydex holster. I couldn't find one for a Baby Eagle, but an XDM was close and after a few little alterations it works fine.
3913 holsters seem to be readily available here in Montana....what are you looking for? IWB? OWB? Leather? Synthetic? Paddle? Retention strap? etc. How much do you want to invest?
I love my comptac MTAC Minotaur. It's interchangeable, you just swap out the kydex portion. They don't make a holster for the 3913 so I wanted to find something close that will work
If price is not an issue, try the Ken Null SSS model. It is made for the 3913, handmade actually. The finest 3913 holster I own. Not cheap though, I paid $145 shipped.
Fast service and a fine product. I'm completely satisfied with mine. Hope this helps! Regards 18DAI
I've been very happy with it. I have quite a few Comp-Tac holsters and the Blade Tech is probably a bit better fitted to the pistol than the Infidels that I own. Down side is that it takes a few weeks to get since they custom make them. Edit: I meant to say that they make them to order, not fitted to each gun.
My off-duty rig for the 3913 is a Safariland paddle model: 568-54. It also fits a Colt Officers model. It fits my 3913 perfectly and snug. You can adjust tension also. The holster is made of leather with a klydex paddle. I love it.
