Local shop has one unfired NIB with box and both mags.
It's a consignment, he had $670 on it when I looked at it last week but I called today and he'll take $600 + tax so $636 OTD.
Is this a decent price?
Also what was the last street price for these when they still making them?
Thanks for the feedback

My trepidation on the price is due to the few times I've been in there before. It's a small one man shop a little off the beaten path for me that caters more to gunsmithing and his new current production gun prices are jaw dropping high.
After this I'm going to have to stop in a little more often.
He has a 6" pre-lock 686 and 66, both in real nice shape and under $700 each.
I'm going to have to think on those, I'm going to at least call today and get the dash numbers on them.
Watching Rick on Walking Dead with his Python makes me yearn for at least an affordable 6" 357 :)

New unfired in box I would say $600 is an acceptable price. Others should be along with info on prices when still produced but I believe around $600 or $700 was the list on the last ones.

Not sure how accurate this site is (Genitron), but it lists an MSRP.
Smith & Wesson 3913LS (Ladysmith)

Last 3913LS I saw in northern Ohio about 3 years ago in NIB condition, or at least close to that, was $650. At the same time, police trade in 3913s were $379. Due to pricing, I was more interested in the trades so I didn't ask about the LS.

I know it's named LadySmith but they are purty.

As much as I'd like an NL or LS to help complete my 3rd Gen collection/accumulation, I'm still finding it hard to justify the premium one must pay over the cost of your typical used "plain Jane" 3913 in decent condition. :o I feel the same about the pre-rail 3913TSW's as well. I'll score one of each someday if I possibly can, but I don't see paying some of the super-crazy prices that we see on-line and in some shops. :(

But an unfired-in-original-factory-box LS (or NL or pre-rail TSW) for $600 is outstanding in my view. :) I'd have an awfully hard time walking away from that one. :D

Here's her big brother I picked up this last spring from a different shop.
Kind of a odd duck, working night sights that I'm guessing are original along with those 3 Clinton mags.
My nightstand gun.

Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't pay $300 for that gun. For many years I would avoid the 3913 because it looked just like the above variant. 1. The gray is a huge turnoff, & 2. the Lady Smith engraved on the side is definitely not for me. 3. Then the tapered frame which is not parallel to the slide also is a big turnoff for me. While I wanted a 3913 for years, all I would see is examples like the above posted gun. Finally, in July I found what I wanted. A gun similar to what I've linked to. I put a 5906 hammer on it, & I'm in S&W heaven. GARY

Looks great! :) I found a Model 5946 a while back but it was way old (compared to yours) and kind of nasty. Too bad 'cause the price was not too bad and it did come with the original box and all paperwork. :o Oh well...

Clinton magazines are, of course, banned in my loony moonbat state. :o Interestingly, it is more dangerous (legally speaking) to possess a Clinton magazine in MA than even to possess a newly minted post-ban magazine just because of the highly incriminating markings. It's much easier for an ADA to charge and convict on a magazine so marked. Despite that, we see people trying to sell them here fairly often as "pre-ban" magazines. Go figure.

I was watching a 3913 LS recently, it sold for $450 with 2 mags in excellent condition no box.

If I find a 3913 LS or NL in high condition locally for under $500 I will likely pick it up as a smaller alternative to my 39-2 CCW.
Found a 3913 locally for that range but it was the ambi safety blocky version that I dont really like.

KGun...that LS is out freaking standing.........is it going to be a shooter or just eye candy:D.......and that price for an unfired outside the mothership is IMO a good deal......shooter grades around here....and it looks like we are in the same general area.....will go for 450 to 500 bucks easy.....so another $100 or so for one like yours is golden......pristine gray LS/NL grips were hard to find......take care of them...I replaced mine with wood....but would never sell them...unless I sold the gun and that ain't happening..;)

Looking at suggested retail prices, in 2004 a 3913TSW was $806, which in today's money that would be $1027 and I'm sure if S&W was still making them the suggested retail price would be even higher.

So if you're getting essentially a new gun, that is not currently being made, it just comes down to whether you have the money & it's worth it to you.

Otherwise there's plenty of black plastic guns to choose from, for less.

I'm not surprised by that at all. Some of the greatest 3rd Gen deals are occasionally found in shops that you'd least suspect just going by shop reputation or their less than competitive prices on new firearms.

BTW, I just took note of the pix you added to your original post. That is one amazingly clean gun. Sure looks "new-in-box" to me. :) Truly an amazing score!!! :D

That is gorgeous. My 3914LS looks like Cinderella cleaning the house while her sister (your LS!) goes to the ball. Congrats on a nice find.
I was never crazy about the grey grips, but your pics are pulling me off of that stance.
