Very nice! I have K22 Masterpiece #K7920. I lettered it; it shipped 12-12-47 to Abercrombie & Fitch in New York.

Here next to my circa 1951 22 CM.

I found one at a show and bought it merely for the serial number that I thought was interesting.

It is K 1722. When model numbers came out the K22 became the model 17 so I thought K 1722 was cool.

As the bride says, "like you needed another reason to purchase another S&W".

Oh well, that was all before the boating accident!!!

Purchased my first one-liner back before I knew the difference. It was bought because of its condition, which had me to get the payment very quickly. As for K1722, think I may have taken that home, too.
