Hello,

Here is a photo of my .44 Hand Ejector 3rd Model, a.k.a. 1926 HE Pre-War.

It was shipped in February 1930. Serial No. 339XX

I have sent for a S&W historical letter.

I can't wait to see who it was shipped to and the exact date, as my father-in-law was also born in February 1930, wouldnt that be a kick if it was shipped on his birthday 02/11/1930.

It is well used, but the grips number to the revolver and the finish is original. The side plate appears to have never been removed.

It is my second Pre-war Revolver (along with my 1936 .38/44 HD).

I sure do like those Pre-War N-Frames !

It will probably letter to Wolf and Klar. I have a couple in thgat number range that went to W&K

As luck would have it, my Roy Jinks letter arrived in today's mail.

It was shipped on February 13, 1930, to Wolf and Klar of Forth Worth, Texas.

Does anyone know if any records exist from Wolf and Klar which would indicate where/who the revolver was sold to ????

From what I have heard Wolf and Klar was a major distributor to south-west Law Enforcement agencies ??? I would love to know where this revolver ended-up....

Thanks for your interest,
