4566 TSW available grip options?

I believe that any grips for the 4506 should work with the 4566. I am looking for a ivory polymer option.
Click on the following link -> 4566 grip | eBay and it'll take you to a plethora of 4500 factory fresh and not-so-fresh grips that as of the moment I left the page were running from $15 upward to $45.

I believe......Hogue still has them in rubber and wood.

Mine came with Hogue rubber grips (yuck). I replaced with factory straight back grips and added a little Talon grip tape.
I tried the Houge rubber grips on a 1006. Turned the single stack into a double stack. The soft rubber was nice for the 10mm recoil, but both my 1006 and 4566 now have factory grips. I think the wood versions may be even thicker.
There is no right answer with grips...... I have medium sized hands and the 4566 factory grips seem too thin........ Hogue Rubber just right on my 4566.....
and my 3913s........just OK on the 6906 (cover the front strap) but too big on a 5906 or 915.
It's all trial and error....... which is why a lot of folks over time and many guns end up with a big "box-o-grips" !!!!

The reason why I'm looking for some grips is because the factory grip feels a little thin to me when shooting the 4566 single action. On my first range trip, I shot much better double action. With single action I was pulling the trigger with the first joint of my finger. I would say I have medium sized hands for a guy, so I was a little surprised that I had this issue. Of course, my shots are all left with single action. I'm wondering if the Hogue rubber grips will help. Midway has some in stock, so I ordered them.
I have a 5906 with the factory curved grips and shoot it much better single action. I think it is the double column width that helps.

The other week I mentioned that aluminum panels would be forth coming. Still happening. Working on the design now and hope to start producing in April. Starting with straight back grips for the CS45 and CS9 and 3913. Will branch out to other models depending on response . This forum will be the first to see them when ready.

Same thing with me. I'd love to find a set of 1076 palmswell grips. They seem to have just enough extra thickness.

I HATE the Hogue grips. Do you know how many Hogues I have taken off various 3rd gens I bought used.......a ton. Hell, even my CS9 those suckers came off and Big Dogs went on.

What holsters are you guys using on your 4566TSW? I'm new to the forum and looking for options. I have a Bianchi leather for my 686 and like that alot.

All my single stacks have the Hogue rubber grips. All my double stacks have the factory grips. Works for me.
The Hogue grips came in from Midway today. Unfortunately, a water line in my refrigerator was leaking for a couple of weeks and I discovered it a few days ago. I'm in the middle of replacing the kitchen floor, so it will likely be next weekend before I get to try the new grips out.

Easy, sell the Hogues on here to guys like me with really long fingers!!
I freekin love 'em, makes the pistols fit so much better!!
That's one of the reasons the 1911 is still so popular,
you can grip it to fit anyone, which is something many MFR's
have forgotten about when they made the plastic pistols...
and why Gen4 Glocks have the adjustable backstraps...
which within the next few years everyone else will have.
Hand Fit is KEY in making massive amounts of sales.
