460xvr compensator cleaning

Only have around 200 total rds through my 8" 460 but the comps are terribly dirty. Any recommendations on cleaning the inside?

Remove it from the gun and use a brush and your favorite solvent.

I use a brass brush most the time personally.

I have thrown them in the ultrasonic without issue.

Ultrasonic gun cleaning tub... or you could use a drill with a whippet bristle it fits perfectly in the barrel of my 500 Magnum.

Hmm I like the ultrasonic idea. I tried the brush thing & the mess some HSM 45 colt ammo used has proven difficult.
