I got a used 617-6 at the beginning of the year for $575 from one of these places. Yes, I know it's a -6, but we here in California can only get the 617 in either -4 or -6 for the 4" model, unless it's already in the state to begin with.
I've been trying to find a -4 for a long time, but the -6 will keep me busy for now.
The 617 is a blast to shoot and I wish I bought one when the pre-lock ones were considered the newest models.
But yes, for brand new, I don't see prices lower than $700-ish anywhere.
