Hey Folks,
I guy I know mentioned he would sell me his 625-5, wood grips(not sure what kind-could be original), I'd say 93-95% condition. Tight lock-up.No scratches.
might have the original box, not sure. I didn't want to seem overly interested....which I am.Can't remember if its a 4" or 5".
What price would fair to both of us? I see prices for these things all over the place, and I don't have much knowledge on the 625's.
Thanks

valkyriekl, Thanks for the response. I made a mistake, its a -4. It has a
4"barrel. Does the -4 affect the 625's?

I was going to ask what the difference is between the -4 and a -5 but I see you have already made a correction. I have three -4s and my advice is that you buy it and not quibble over a few dollars. This is as good as the 625 ever got and it seems everything since then has been all downhill.

Dave Sinko,
I think I will take your advice.

Dave;
My experience has not borne this out. My 625-6 Model of 1989 (5" barrel) and my 625-8 (4" barrel) Jerry Miculek Special could NOT be better! Here is the -6:

These guns are SHOOTERS!! Here's five shots standing, at 25 yards:

Hell yes, if anyone can find a clean -3 or -4 in the 500-600 dollar range, they should jump on it without hesitation.

If there was a -5, it was the mountain gun variety I believe.
The regular 625 went -2, -3, -4, -6, -8.
