Yup, I have one, I believe there were 1500 made. Full lug, 5 inch barrel, tight as tight can be. SDS serial#05xx625-5 RB rubber hogues with S&W medallions. I believe these were stocking dealer only. I LOVE mine. I shoot lazer cast 255 swcs ahead of 8.5 new Unique winchester brass, winchester large pistol primer, heavy roll crimp in RCBS dies. Very accurate load, and no recoil. I should be around 900fps in the five inch barrel. Very well made handgun.

Is this one one with the bead blast or matte blue/black finish and unfluted cylinder?

This needed some pictures!
My favorite 5" N-frame by far!

This group was shot by a new shooter after he warmed up on a S&W kit gun and Glock (that's 12 shots!)

S&W also made a PC Light Weight Hunter model, with a slab sided 6" ported barrel, in .45 Colt. I've got a Lt Wt Hunter in both .44 mag and .45 Colt. Both are very well fitted and accurate.

They also made a 25-7 and 25-9 I've got one of the 5" barrel -7's. A convential looking N sq butt revolver with the std ejector rod shroud similar to a 27,28,etc. Mine is very accurate.
