S&W 629-1 Effector
I was asked to post my new purchase in the 629 Club...you guys have some nice revolvers. Wow I have a long way to go, but I guess you've got to start somewhere. Here is my recent purchase. It is a 629-1 3" barreled 44 with what I understand to be a K frame grip. On the left side of the barrel is written Effector. I believe it could be a Jovino custom job but I will write S&W to find out for sure. I purchased it for $440 and have shot it once but have yet to do any serious accuracy work with it. Just now learning about S&W revolvers. I have a pile of polymer pistols which are great in the same way a Eastwing hammer is great but these revolvers truly are works of art that I will look forward to passing on.
