Another range trip today with Winchester .38spl 130gr fmj. The larger holes are at 7, 10 and 15 yards. The smaller ones are from my grandson shooting a 10/22 lol.

Awesome find, congratulations! Count me in...another 65-5 owner here. Got mine in 2012 or thereabouts for $339. Should've bought a couple more at that price! Here it is with my 64-5.

I like the Pachmayr Grips that came on it. That's a period correct cop's revolver, JMHO.

I agree. Although not original, it was quite common for law enforcement officers to ditch the factory stocks in favor of Pachmayr rubber stocks.

Congrats for finding your Model 65-3, OP. Thanks to "Baxter 6551" steering me to it, I'm the proud owner of a Model 65-2 3" myself. Love the 3" k frames!

I have another set of the Pachs that I will use for extended range sessions but for carry I'll stick with the factory grips/adapter. Good to go either way lol
