These are beautiful revolvers. I had a 4" model 65, and sold it with other revolvers, to purchase semi-auto's when LE changed over. I just bought a new snub nose model 60. I am looking for a mint condition model 65. I would prefer a 3" barrel. You guys that have them are very fortunate. They started making new model 66, but I do not like adjustable sights. So maybe they will start making the model 65 again, I hope.

I'm not a fan of the adjustable sights either. I'm gonna replace it with a C&S Extreme Duty fixed rear.

65-5 Ladysmith

This one came home with me today, private party face to face exchange.
Shoots unbelievable, I'm very happy, been looking for a loooong time.
I'm getting in touch with my feminine side. Lucky Lady (smith) came with box and Jewelry case but not the original grips............anybody got any?

This 65-5 started out life with a 4" barrel and case color hardened hammer/trigger. The previous owner had the barrel swapped out to the 3" one that it now sports. I swapped out the hammer/trigger for flash chromed pieces, as I prefer the look. This gun is an excellent shooter (and not a bad looker in my book).
