just curious if anyone has ever heard of or seen a 66-2 that was pinned and recessed or a 66-1 that is not P&R. the change was in 1982 from -1 to -2

I've never seen a -1 that wasn't P&R or a -2 that was both pinned and recessed. However, I've seen -2s that have neither, just pinned barrels or just recessed cylinders, but not both.

My 66-1 that I just traded was Pinned and Not Recessed.

No, not to my knowledge. For me it would command less than -1 P&R and the same as a plain -2.

If I recall correctly, deleting the barrel pin did not require an engineering change. Deleting the recessed cylinder, however, did require an engineering change as the cylinder had to be shortened when the recessed cylinders were deleted.
