Me Too!!!!! In the shape you want 450 at most. I have put several "WTB" up on the forum and so far no takers. This was my first handgun that i foolishly traded away a LONG time ago. I got the 4" and 6" and just need the 8 3/8" to complete my set. If it has the box, etc then maybe up to $500 at most. Good luck. If you find an extra let me know.

Tell them since you'll need to have the barrel shortened to be useful all you can offer them is $400. Then enjoy the sight radius.

Dang, you guys are 2 weeks too late . Local shop had a perfect 8 3/8" no dash with the factory target wood grips for 6 months before it finally got bought .
I think the price was in the low 500's .

I wonder what the scarcity stats are? I have seen few L-frames with the full length tubes. I doubt they are "rare".

I paid $499 for mine a couple years ago....

You're livin' in the past with those prices, trauma1. BTW--you also need a 2 1/2" and a 3" to have a complete set....

depends on the market base. see my recent post "686's", with pics! both in the boxes and OTD for $500 or less. I am not in a hurry. Also, if I remember correctly, the 2 1/2 qnd 3" guns came later. Originally they were only offered in the 4,6, and 8 3/8" lengths. Correct me if I am wrong though. In the end though, all good things come to those who wait!
