Välkommen to the forum.
That's a very impressive and unusual introduction. Thanks for sharing your interesting workmanship with us.

Project near done, some more testshooting @ aprox 55 yards (50m) with ironsights and my 50 year old eyes … looks like it will stay withing 2" with some practice :-)
Did throw bonuspic. with my project glasbeaded on top of my bar, for an amateur i think i did an OK job :-)

Great job mate. Can I ask, what brand of grips are those with the S&W logo? KN Nill?

What's the course of fire for your nationals? Is it like WA1500?

Cheers

Yes that is KN "club 30" (a brand for european gunsmith) and i somehow got to buy a couple of them :-)

That is pretty impressive. Are you a gun smith by trade or a machinist. If you are a hobbyist you are talented to say the least.

Nope, not gunsmith or machinist but one of the very best educations on this earth .... born, raised and still liveing on a farm (farmers can learn anything buy on their own) :D

A friend wanted some help with his s&w practical champion, history of is a damaged barrel after some bad (soft) handloads and someone hacking of 2" of the barrel .... that is not the way to treat a nice revolver :( , made a barrel from a lothar walther blank :D

Put a nice "semimatt" 11 degree crown on the muzzle, and did part time assembly, later this week it will have some "millingtime" to lose some weight and drill/tap for sightramp :)

Forgot, i do shoot WA1500 sometimes but that has a weightlimit of 1750grams, my main goal for this build was to compete in "magnumprecision" and "fieldshooting" those have a weightlimit of 1400grams :)
