686 snub pics: why not?

As you can see below I am quite partial to short barreled x86s (686,586,386). They carry wonderfully, balance perfectly, and are all extremely accurate. Even my 18oz 386PD pictured below. They are as accurate as any long barrel 357 I have ever shot, maybe even a touch more accurate.

The short barreled x86s are easily my favorite class of revolvers.

Here is my Daily Carry 686PC 2.5":

Here is mine, a -3 model with a new Lobogunleather Enhanced Pancake Holster and matching belt. A fine revolver deserves fine leather. Good Stuff!

Here is another vote for a 386, carried in an Alessi. HarrishMasher what front sight do you have on your 386PD, I like it Tritium?

It is an XS Big Dot Front and their rear sight blade as well. It is a set. The gun actually came to me with the sights already on it along with an excellent trigger job! I bought it used on GB a few months back. Managed to get it for $650. It was barely fired. Excellent and accurate piece.

I'll play

Here is a picture of my 2 1/2 686 and my 4 and 6 inch 686. I just picked up the 4 inch this weekend.
Also a picture of my model 15. JA

Those are some beautiful snubs! My 686-4 plus 2.5" is in my top three favorite revolver list. It's a shame I don't have any photos. I'll have to fix that.

The 686-4 (+plus) snub is one of my all-time "want list" guns.
I like the -4 variants of S&W revolvers the most.....and a +plus version is icing on the cake!

Bring the pics!!

A 686-5 + 2.5" and a 686-4 2.5". Both sold now. I owned the -5 for 16 years. Great guns. Too heavy for me to carry. But I will probably buy another if the price is right as my safe feels empty without one in it.
