9 vs. 40 Shield

I went with the 9mm today. I loved/missed my old one so much I just had to replace it exactly.

This one has some kind of QR code beside the serial number. I haven't seen anything like that.

I got the 9mm Sheild first. Great gun. I few weeks ago I picked up the 40 Sheild.
Another great gun. I don't have a problem with the recoil on the 40 and wanted a little more bullet.

I purchased the .9mm thinking that in that small a gun, the 9mm was a more suitable choice as well as slightly better round capacity. I am glad that I chose the .9mm over the .40. I am a .45 guy at heart and if I want to carry something larger, I go with a 1911. I love my shield but I carry an M&P 340 all day, every day.

I've got a Gen 4 G22 (40 cal), Keltec PF-9 (9mm) and the Shield 40. Glad I got the Shield 40. I think I would have been disappointed if I had got it in 9mm.
