Not sure how many were made, the SCSW doesn't say. The original (No Dash, after the 200 Bangers) was built sometime between 2000 and 2003, when the Dash-1 came out. It was only produced that one year, and the Dash-2 was produced the next year, 2004.

As for shooting characteristics, I only have the Dash-1 and Dash-2 models, but they are very similar to me, which is to say darned near perfect. I prefer the Dash-2 for looks, as I am partial to its two shades of stainless.

The 952 was made in 2000 with 200 made
These were KAZ prefix and blue
They have no grip safety
However, I have a no dash in the 300 range, so ??

The 952-1 was produced in blue in 2 variations in 2003
These are also KAZ serial prefixes, but have a grip safety
The first variation has the 952 slide with around 400 produced
The second variation has the stamped marked slide with around 1000 produced

The 952-2 was produced '2004-07
These are SS and have many variations
These have a DAB prefix and a combined production of at least 1300
A few of the last 952-2 had different prefixes

There is also a 952-3
These are blue or SS in 9X21 caliber for export
These are very rare

Hope the basic rundown was helpfull
Here is an old pic of some varieties
