A Brace of .44 Specials - Pics!

Trio of .44s

I don't have the same photographic skills, but thought you'd like to see my .44s: M624, M24-3, and .44 Double Action in .44 Russian shipped in June 1884.

One is fortunate indeed to have the same gun in blue and stainless, and to have your photography studio in your laundry room.

>>>but feeding them gets really expensive<<<

I would like to "gently" disagree with you. I cast my own bullets and reload. The costs per shot are minimal when you do that.

I have an S&W Model 24 (6½" barrel) and two 624's (4" and 6½" barrels). These are indeed superb revolvers.

Thanks for sharing with us...

Very nice photos! Can't believe you shot those with overhead flourescents! I have a D40 too and still love it. I'm sure going to have to find out something I don't know now to ever want to replace it. Have a 24-3 too. Those are surprisingly accurate guns for the length of bbl imho.

Bob,
Really like those 44's. Your photos are excellent. Your D40 is doing a good job for you. Like Lou i also am a Nikon guy. Took me a long time to figure the camera out with all those knobs/buttons..etc on them. But after the last 100 years i'm catching on. All my "gun pictures" are taken outside in the sun light. Notice you don't have a photo album on the forum yet. Bunch of those would be excellent to start a Photo Album here. Some of mine i have mounted as "Pictures On The Wall" here in the Den, & some even made desktops for the computer. Here is one of yours with some filtering. Looking forward to some more pics. Good luck.

Thanks again to everyone that has so graciously complemented my photo work. It is a pleasure to add what I can to this Forum.

Carl, that is a cool effect on the photo. And yes, I do have to put some of my pictures in an album one of these days. Bob
