Or perhaps more accurately, a "cowgirl" one. A publicity photo of actress Gail Davis in her 1950's television role as Annie Oakley. The revolver she's brandishing is clearly an S&W M&P, nickeled or chromed, fitted with "stag" grips, and as a final touch sporting a faux ejector rod housing grafted onto the barrel.

In the 1950 movie musical “Annie Get Your Gun”, Betty Hutton in the title role has two similarly modified DA revolvers. Maybe the same ones. I don’t remember whether they were Colts or S&Ws. Not that it makes any difference.
 
I remember noticing Annie's modified revolver back when the show ran on TV. Was just a kid but I could see that her gun was different.
