You guys are going to hate me.
Years ago, I walked into a LGS.
They had a SALE on ALL 41 mag bullets, no one bought any.
They had a lot.
Spoke to the owner who knows that I shoot 41 almost exclusively.
Told him to make me an offer I could Not refuse. He Did.
I bought every 41 bullet he had. These were just the heads, Not loaded rounds.
I forget just how Many I ended up with or even how much I paid.
It took 2 trips with a hand truck to load into my truck.
I still have most of them. They are all jacketed stuff for Magnum use.
Most of what I shoot are hard cast lead bullets that I make myself.
Don't ask me how much lead I have.
Heck, I used lead shot to pay guys that Quietly Moved me and my guns (and safes) from our old place to our new home.
Helps that they are members of a gun club and do it as a service for local gun owners.

I hope you transported the .41 magnum ammo in a Brinks Armored Truck to a Bank Vault ?? That ammo is more valuable tan Gold !

A year ago I traded into a S&W Model 657. The only ammo I could find was a box of the lead SWC (210gr ?) Police Loads. $50.00 for a 50 round box !!
(p.s. I no longer have the M57).
