A farmer could use some prayers

I just found out this evening that my neighbor, Craig, was involved in a farm accident.

This morning he was loading a Massey Ferguson onto a trailer when one of the ramps gave way and the rear wheel lodged and flipped the tractor over on top of him. He was trapped under the tractor for two hours before his wife came home from grocery shopping and found him. He's in rough shape with multiple fractures: leg, arm, ribs and some internal injuries but expected to survive. The saving grace was that he was on soft ground otherwise he would have been crushed much worse than he was.

His wife said that Craig always carries his cell phone when away form the house in case of an emergency but was pinned so tight that he was unable to reach it and call for help.

Prayers for your neighbor. Tell him about the three- legged pig. Maybe he'll have a laugh. Hope I got it right. Farmer had a three legged pig in a limousine. People asked him why do you have your three legged pig in a limousine? He said this is a special pig. My tractor tipped over and I was pinned. This pig came and dug me out from under the tractor. He saved my life. People said, why does he only have three legs? Farmer said,, when you have a pig this special, you don't eat him all at once.
That said, my bull's-eye teammate was pinned between his truck door and a tree on his property when the truck rolled backwards on him. He was life-flighted. This happened on a Thursday. Things weren't so bad. He was back shooting our bullseye line Monday night. That same night one of our teammates shot himself in the index finger with his 22. We discussed who would drive him to the hospital. I said, Chuck was just there Thursday; they know him there. And they'll be glad to see Chuck doing so well. So Chuck drove him to the hospital. Flesh wound.
 
Both sides of my family farmed, both sides of my wife's too.................. all who have farmed/ranched know the perils of working around machinery & livestock........ Know that he & his lady are in our prayers. It's a blessing to have good neighbors to help out when a farmer is hit by sickness or an injury...........
 
Prayers out for Craig. I know how he feels back in the 70's I had a car fall on me and laid there for about a hour then 8 more hours in the ER waiting for a OR time with a broke and dislocated hip. I really didn't hurt until I move any. Then again I was young in the 20's
 
Prayers for your neighbor.

My grandfather got pinned under a farm implement back in the '60's. He wasn't hurt, but he had to wait a couple of hours before someone came and rescued him. After that, he always instilled in my father and me to always try to have someone within sight or earshot of you at all times when working on the farm.

That can't be much fun. I'm praying for Craig as well. I've seen God's healing power before. A coworker's son was hit by a vehicle while riding his bike a few months ago. Eleven years old, the boy was not expected to survive. We all got together and prayed, called everyone we knew to pray, too. The young man made a miraculous and FAST recovery,
