Anyone have any suggestions for a 40 S&W round that functions well in the Sigma?

I'm a little surprised at your post, considering I've had trouble finding anything my SW40VE won't shoot.
I use the 180 Speer Gold Dot, but I'm sure there are others that work as well.

I shoot mostly handloads on the range, and the SW40VE digests anything from 150 to 180 power factor, with lead, plated, or jacketed bullets with boring (and reassuring) monotony.

I have gotten one bad magazine which was slightly out of spec on the slot for the catch (magazine sat low), and it had some feeding problems. S&W replaced the magazine immediately without charge.

Pretty much anything functions in mine ones I have carried are 180gr SXT, 155gr TAP and 135gr HST. Any quality hollow point will work well just make sure you test the function at the range before you bet your life on it.

Similar results here. I've yet to find anything that won't function reliably in my two SW40GVE's. I generally carry either 165 grn. Golden Saber, or the 180 grn. WWB HP's. Either have been utterly reliable.

+1

FINDING them is my problem.....
