A group for 32 lovers?

My Dad's favorite was the K-32. His thoughts were a 22 would be too short on power at 100 yards, a 38 or 44 was to heavy to throw a box in your pocket and go for a walk, but with the 32 SW Long, you could slip a box of 50 rounds in your pocket comfortably and had enough power for the plinking he liked to do. His favorite powder for reloading it is long obsolete, Dupont 5066. So I'll join in his memory.

Like the un-birthday party in Alice Through the Looking Glass we are now unofficially in a non-meeting that has been called to dis-order by the un-President (otherwise known as the "High Poobah") and having quite a few un-members who are conducting non-business. My only concern now is how will we know when we are done!

Our tent is very large (if we had a tent, that is) and all are welcome to non-enroll. I'm wondering though, should we have un-charter non-members?

A wise thing to do???

Does anyone really think this is a wise thing to do? Here in my area, .32 S&W Long and .32 H&R magnum ammo is difficult to find and costly when I manage to locate any, and the guns that chamber these cartridges are pricey as well.

I can't shoot any of my guns without reloading. Oh, I'll spend a few bucks on cheap 9mm or specialty rounds, but shooting regularly is out of the question unless I make my own.

My intent was not to stop reloading, but stop praising .32 cartridges publicly and getting other folks interested in them, LOL!!

yea yea I know. this is how I received it. took me a couple years but it runs perfectly now and very accurate. I oil the hec out of it now and then. removed every part and cleaned them up.

Hardknocks, it looks like your CZ live up to your name! I've heard good things about how well they shoot, though and yours certainly proves that it's a durable design. My experience with the 32 auto pocket pistols is pretty sparse, but the round works well in my K-frame!

Nobody ever accused me of being politically correct, and I refuse to be part of a "Sisterhood," so how about "32s from the 'hood?" Nah, that sounds like we're talking about Saturday Night Specials! Oops, there I go being politically incorrect again!

What is the gun in your second picture?

To me, a revolver carries 6 shots (6 is my lucky number). That's why I love a 32 in a J Frame. Near the top of my list to buy sits a model 31 snub.

The .32 Long is one of my favorite rounds, and I have some older I and K frames that chamber it. I even appreciate its semi-equivalent rimless version, the .32 or 7.65mm auto. Because of my multiple personalities and free-wheeling collecting standards I already feel like my own brotherhood, but I'll be glad to join any group that will have me. Us. Whatever.

Ok, I'm in one S&W Lemon squeezer in 32 S&W and a 1903 Colt in 32 ACP....My Problem is FINDING 32 S&W Short ammo.

Just scored an 8-3/8" to pair w/ my 16-4 5" (bobbed), not the normal pairing but works for me. 631 4" in the mix as well. Haven't reloaded since I was a kid, but that's in the foreseeable future as well as all the fun I'm gonna have w/ these puppies!

Not looking to hunt deer w/ revolvers, just want more "bang" than a .22 as cheaply as possible-- .32 perfect, for me.

I only have this one but it's become my favorite. I did not know a thing about 32's when I saw this at the gun shop a few years ago. I bought it intending to flip it, but somebody convinced me to shoot it first and the rest was history. It does 90% of what I need a handgun to do and does it with style. I added the micarta grips and snagged the holster. If I ever find another Marlin Cowboy I will add one of them too.

Cheap to shoot, accurate as all get out and the perfect size and weight for packing unless you need to shoot bears or squaches...

I only have one S&W in .32 long. An old hand ejector. I have two .32 Lemon Squeezers as well. But, I collect 1903 Colts, FN 1910s and 1922s and MAB D's and have my Dad's WWII Walther PP bringback in .32 ACP. .32 are my favorite caliber to shoot.

32 Caliber

I'm a fan of 32 caliber, I have S&W and Rugers in 32 and 327. I would love to see this happen.

I am in. Only one S&W (an I Frame Regulation Police), also a Forehand Arms solid frame that will chamber 32 long but that I have only shot with wax bullets. My wife has a 32 H&R and she would WANT you to call this a brotherhood.

After seeing the pictures I realize that I need a vintage 32 Auto.

And my 8mm Mausers, do they count?

Oh, and I need a 31 caliber Cap and Ball revolver.
