A group for 32 lovers?

Here are some samples of "All things 32"
usfa's

K-32 wifey got for me for a whopping $600

The 331 is just about perfect to carry, light and got plenty of teeth!!

I got the 631 from a new forum member who had one post, and one S&W.

Brother hrichard suggested that Brother jebus be encouraged to post here with info about his latest acquisition, a very early I-frame TARGET! What about it Brother J, you don't want to be drummed out of the Brotherhood, do you?:D:;)

OK, sounds good.

Just posted this elsewhere, but I'll post it here also:

31-1

I really liked that Marlin 1894CB. I have two Marlin Cowboy rifles (1895cb 45-70 and a 1894cb 45 colt) and would like to find one in .32.

Wow, that would be a pretty good price for it Stateside! I would say you did quite well. With the popularity of the 32 S&W L in Europe your ammo will be an easy matter... BTW, do you reload? The fastest way to get full potential out of the 32 H&R is to load it yourself. Congrats, and we'll be waiting for the pix.

Good to know that i did a good deal, even US-wise. They usually go for around 1500-1900 here in Sweden. Ye i reload and i just got myself around 3000 S&W long cases and 2500 speer .314 HBWC. Just waiting for my caliber conversion for my 650

Sounds like you are good to go. Your biggest problem now will be getting the silly grin off your face when you come off the range each time... people will think you're crazy to look that happy all the time! Congratulations and I hope you really will get to enjoy it to the fullest.

Regards,
Froggie

PS As a matter of info, what powder and charge will you be using there? I'm still collecting good ideas in that regard, though I've pretty much settled on "cat sneeze" loads of Bullseye™ for my 32 S&W L rounds because they sometimes get used in the little I-frames too.

Here in Sweden we mostly use Vitavouri and Vectan powders so i will probably start with a vv 310 charge of 1,3 grains and work up to ~1.8 and see how it performs. I got some plated roundnouse (German manufacturer H&N 100gn .314) ammo from a friend with 1.8gn vv 310 and it was one big hole at 25meters (27yards).

I'm in! I have a 632 Carry Comp Pro and a 432 snubbie. Love those .32s.

There's a new kid in town, taking over in the safe. Its an I frame target shipped Aug 3, 1919. I'm moving further into this 32 brotherhood. FROGGIE, help me. I know, grab 2 .32's and go to bed. Gotta love it. Hope I look this good at 95 yrs old!!! Larry

I am in ,awaiting delivery of a SW327 Federal Pro.SS I am going to reload every .32 there is,then I am going to shoot them. Guess what's next, yup.doit over again.

Yes

Is that a shamrock inlay? It goes well with the green front sight! ;) Badger grips in rosewood with ivory inlay. I like the green fiber optic which seems to show better than the red. But you are right they work well together and I'm not even Irish. LOL

Loaded a hundred cartridges with 1,7 vv 310 behind a Speer 98gn HBWC today. Tomorrow I gonna chech the accuracy at the range. Then I will post some pics to.

Schnitzel fritz, that sounds like a great load. I have a new box of HBWC I bought for a special occasion and it sounds like this is it. I may have to scramble a bit to find Vitavouri powder in this current climate in the US, though. I'll be curious to see how your Euro-load will work here on this side of the Atlantic. ;)

For those who have been wondering how to get modern, high quality revolver in 32 caliber, the following may be of interest;

Converting a S&W 64-7 to .327 Federal

Although I'm not sure he's thought of it, except for the updated caliber, this gun is an homage to the near-mythical 32 M&P. My new "virtual best friend" in California, screen name "Crank," is doing all his own work and is posting a step by step progress report with pictures. This thread goes to 5 pages already but is definitely worth a look for the 32 enthusiast. Enjoy! :D

In all my years of shooting, I have never owned a .32 anything. However, the first centerfire handgun I ever shot was a 3" S&W .32 that my brother in law carried as a Justice of the Peace in SW VA in the 60's.
If I ever decide to get a small auto pistol, it would likely be a .32 ACP rather than a .380. I would practice with and carry FMJ ammo only in order to get maximum penetration. I heard years ago that .32 beat .380 in accuracy and penetration and you got at least one more cartridge in the gun.
If a .32 RP or Hand Ejector or 30 or 31 comes my way at the right price....
