Schnitzel fritz, that sounds like a great load. I have a new box of HBWC I bought for a special occasion and it sounds like this is it. I may have to scramble a bit to find Vitavouri powder in this current climate in the US, though. I'll be curious to see how your Euro-load will work here on this side of the Atlantic.

For those who have been wondering how to get modern, high quality revolver in 32 caliber, the following may be of interest;

Converting a S&W 64-7 to .327 Federal

Although I'm not sure he's thought of it, except for the updated caliber, this gun is an homage to the near-mythical 32 M&P. My new "virtual best friend" in California, screen name "Crank," is doing all his own work and is posting a step by step progress report with pictures. This thread goes to 5 pages already but is definitely worth a look for the 32 enthusiast. Enjoy!

In all my years of shooting, I have never owned a .32 anything. However, the first centerfire handgun I ever shot was a 3" S&W .32 that my brother in law carried as a Justice of the Peace in SW VA in the 60's.
If I ever decide to get a small auto pistol, it would likely be a .32 ACP rather than a .380. I would practice with and carry FMJ ammo only in order to get maximum penetration. I heard years ago that .32 beat .380 in accuracy and penetration and you got at least one more cartridge in the gun.
If a .32 RP or Hand Ejector or 30 or 31 comes my way at the right price....

OK, folks. It's about time to call another semi-annual (give or take) non-meeting of the 32 Brotherhood to disorder. I hereby send out a request for information about new stuff that is now available or about to become available. I'll start us off with news from HKS Speedloaders... they now have a K-32 version of their ubiquitous speed loader. They must not have made very many because I was able to get only 1 each from Midway and Graf, but they are catalogued and may be "in the pipeline" somewhere. Of course they can be used for any length cartridges from 32 S&W Long through 327 Fed Mag in any of the original or custom built K-32 guns. A version of this speed loader for the 32 S&W and 32 H&R I- and J-frames has been available for a long time.

Mihec of MP Moulds in Slovenia has come out with a couple of beautiful brass moulds for the 32 with Cramer style hollow point mechanisms which can be changed to make solids as well. I got the smaller one that runs about 100 gr or so in hollow point configuration.

Any other 32 news for our fellow un-members?

I don't think I listed this previously, but I got this with in the last year. A 2" Bicycle, in really nice nickle. I'm patiently waiting on a letter from Roy, I don't expect until about Nov.

I don't plan on shooting this one.

Okay I want to joint the club, have several .32's but my favorite is my S&W 632 Pro, with nights sights. It has to be one of the finest CCW guns made. The .327 Mag is awesome.

The Ruger Single Seven in 327 Magnum is supposed to start shipping this month to Lipsey's. I've been trying to get one ordered at my local dealer but no luck so far. I WILL get one somehow.

It will go very well with my S&W M-631, M-332, & M16-4.

I assume I am the purchaser of the 16-4 that froggie was referring to in the first post. I also picked this pre 30 up recently. I'm really digging these little 32s. The long skinny hollow points of the 32 H&R Mag are very cool. That probably sounded very dorky but I didn't know how else to explain it.

In addition to my Lemmon Squeezer and my 1903 Colt, we now have a 32 HE, previously posted with range results, and my newly acquired K32. Which shall soon be range tested and posted. I'm all in.

Other then awaiting my Single Seven to get shipped to my crack..errr. gun dealer, not much.

I did however order a couple of 32 Speed strips when I placed my last order with Dillon. Nobody locally has ever had anything but the 38 ones. They are a joy to slip in the pocket when I take my dog for a walk.

The only thing wrong with gun is the small grips. My "pinky" is just waving around in the air. Getting lined up with a pair of square butt J frame grips that will fit my hand a little better

I agree with the grips observation... even with Regulation Police grips or the old 2 screw target grips the I-frame leaves me a little less than I want to hold on to. The J-frame targets give me about the minimum I need to feel comfortable. I really like my K-frame smooth combats on Project 616. Some folks would argue that a K-frame is more gun than is needed for a "mere" 32, but that's my story and i'm sticking to it!

While this may not look the best on the little i-Frame guns it really controls that loose pinky problem. Just the modern J rubber combats with the very slightest dremel work. This is my 1903 3rd from 1924.

I was following an auction on Gunbroker last night which was ending. I hadn't bid, as it was already past my limit. A very nice .32 Safety Bicycle gun, nickle with medallion pearls. It went for $1000, and the lucky winner got a good deal. I loved to see this as I have a nickle bicycle gun (but with standard grips) and it just makes mine worth more. This ones closed now 440966033. One of the Woodlawn Boys from the recent listing of numerous guns they have listed.

I had been bidding on a #1 3rd issue (with Ivory's) about 70% in nickle, but gave up at a certain point. I hope whoever "Spur-nut" is enjoys it. We did go back and forth for a few bids, but I had already exceeded my "pre-set" limit by nearly $100 before I gave up. Darn, still looking for a 1st, 3rd to keep my 1st, 2nd company.

As I was responding to the lucky purchaser of a Model 16-4, I remembered that we had mentioned beginning a group to serve as a sort of clearing house or sounding board for the lovers of the various 32 caliber handguns, along the lines of the old "44 Associates" of times gone by.

OK, here goes! How about a group, open to all lovers of the 32, from 32 ACP up to the 327 Fed Mag and 32-20, which we could call "The 32 Brotherhood?" We would have no officers, no dues and no regular meetings, and the only requirements for membership would be to own, want, or admire one or more of the 32s and be willing to discuss, describe, brag about or otherwise add information to the general body of the group's knowledge. What do you think?
