A group for 32 lovers?

While I have a bunch of .32 ACP pistols I have only one .32 S&W Long. A Korth. It lacks recoil and is boringly accurate...

I would like to know the secret handshake as well.
I have a so so 1903 Colt. 32acp
A throw down break top H&R. 32long
A HE from around the mid 20's with not much finish left but has the longer barrel.
Ruger black hawk 8 shot 327.
A junker but it shoots ok, Ortigies.
And I did get a Lipseys Ruger Single Seven ordered with the 4 and what ever lenth barrel.

O.K. .32 Brotherhood. Especially those of you that reload. Have you tried the Powder Coated bullets yet? I have in 9mm and 45 acp and they are great. They are equal to or exceed the "plated" bullets, at less cost. Leave the bore very clean, and there are reports of them (in rifle) being pushed beyond 2000 fps with no leading/copper embedding etc. The best part is they cost less.

Now the reason for my post. I have spoken with Donnie Miculek, of Bayou Bullets, and he said if he felt there would be enough interest he would invest in .32 caliber molds and make them available. I suggested a bullet in about the 100 gr. size. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, EMAIL DONNIE AND LET HIM KNOW. I've bought over2500 bullets from him mow and fantastic service. If you are guessing that this is Jerry Miculek's brother you would be correct.

Well I'm currently casting a Lee 100 gr RN bullet for loading the 32 long. I can't buy 32 cal bullets localy just mail order or cast my own.
I am casting a Lyman bullet for the 32acp.
I loaded a few 327s with that 100gr bullet to try out but I know they are soft. Trying for 1200fps.
The 32 long load is fairly accurate in the HE. I keep them loaded wimpy .2gr of powder under that 100gr bullet
A coated 100 gr mini keith style swc or a trunicated cone type would probably be what I'd want.
I haven't tried coated bullets yet. I stocked up on xlox lube and that seems to work. A jug last forever. I bought a whole case of jugs.

If you can find one of the old Lyman/Ideal #313445 moulds and lube or coat if for yourself. They run right at 95-100 grains (depending on alloy) and should be just the ticket for you. If you want to go a little heavier the Ideal 3118 or the smaller Mihec 313640 would be just the thing.

I've been loading for 32 S&W Long and H&R Mag for a few years now and no matter how hot I push them, no leading. I run BHN 10-12 in full WC, full meplat (Accurate 31-100X) and the Lee 90 SWC. I've never been able to make these things lead in the least. Still, the 98 gr. WC are the most accurate for me.

While this may not look the best on the little i-Frame guns it really controls that loose pinky problem. Just the modern J rubber combats with the very slightest dremel work. This is my 1903 3rd from 1924.

I have a set of Uncle Mikes that look like that on my 4in .32 and I really like the way they fill my hand. The revolver just points nicely now.

I am now a member of the 32 group. I came across it on GB last week. I'm always looking for the steal deal :). Good value under $300. I got it for $270 total cost. I thought more people would have bid on it. I spoke with the seller today, and he said it had not been shot much and was in good condition. It is a Charter Arms Police Undercover 6 shot 32 H&R magnum. A rare variant of the 38spl. Undercover. They were only mfg. from 1985-1987. Stratford CONN. Plenty of 32 magnum ammo around now, so I stocked up some. Can't wait to shoot it. It comes with two set's of grips.

Whodat,
I was looking at that very same gun auction but could not make up my mind. I am glad that you bought it and removed temptation. I hope you enjoy it very much.

The waiting is a bear!

Well I got two boxes of .32 98 grain wadcutters today.

But I am losing my patience sitting here waiting for this darn 16-4 to arrive.

It's not a Smith, but I'm in...

I couldn't pass on the FN when I saw it sitting in my LGS...

I don't think I listed this previously, but I got this with in the last year. A 2" Bicycle, in really nice nickle. I'm patiently waiting on a letter from Roy, I don't expect until about Nov.

I don't plan on shooting this one.

There's one that looks much like this sitting in the case where I bought my FN 1910,
but I had to go with the 1910.

Maybe if it's still there...

I probably should have not posted in the "revolver" section.

Claudel, even if it's not a revolver, that Browning 1910 is a sweet looking 32! I've had a couple of the 1922 model that superceded it, and liked them except when crawling around on hands and knees looking for spent brass at the end of each shooting session. :( Welcome overboard to our dis-association! :D

I mentioned not too long ago that HKS is now making a K-32 version of their Six Second™ speed loader. I now have three of them and took them out to the range recently to use with my Project 616. With 32 S&W Longs they functioned flawlessly, even though I'm not a big fan of the HKS system of releasing the cartridges. With the extra long 327 FM cartridges however, things were not so smooth. Those long cartridges with the wobble permitted by the HKS loader are hard to maneuver into position and get aligned with the chambers. I think I could load it just about as quickly on a one-by-one basis. I sure wish Safariland or the folks who made the Jet Loader™ would make a run in K-32 configuration. I'm sure I could get them to work better. :o

I inherited this 31-1 along with a box of Winchester Western .32 Long from a great uncle. I've had it for about 8 years, but never fired it. If he'd fired the gun, it was only a cylinder or two as it's in pristine condition with only a hint of a turn line.

I have no intentions of keeping this fine little revolver as a safe queen. One of these days I'll get around to shooting it!
