A light holster for my model 34-1

The objective was to produce this holster as light as possible but nevertheless with a sufficient strength to carry the gun in security whatever could be the circonstances.

I did it in 4 hours.

Leather vegetable tanned is 2.4 mm thick.

Stitching has been made with my Techsew 2750 (sold in France).

This holster is just made for easy wearing, so the finishes take second place.

I choose to wear it on a belt in "cross draw" position.

It is nice to have the talent and materials to make a holster that satisfies your individual needs and desires. I have a friend who does this work and sometimes sends a photo of his latest creation.

I rarely wear a revolver these days but when I did that more often I always carried my Model 34 in an old Bianchi model 1 holster I bought in the proverbial used holster bin at a local gunshop for $12.50, obviously quite some time ago.

Hopefully both the revolver and the holster serve you well.

I work leather since ten years, the first holster I've done tooke me two days. This one was easy, not the case ofthe one of the attached picture: double loop holster for my Remington 1858.

I have a Model 34. I bought it almost 50 years ago. It still shoots like new, and I've shot it a ton. It rides in a genuine S&W holster, just like this one: (That's my Model 15 in the picture).
