a place to watch vintage movies

Looks interesting but they don't volunteer much info. I expect there is a short trial period for free and then a monthly charge. I've tried a couple of free movie channels on Roku but the commercials turned me off.

Ther used to be a theater near here that showed old movies. There are many great movies I never had the opportunity to see on the big screen, the way they were meant to be seen. Not sure of the economics involved in obtaining the rights to show them, but I wish someone could make it happen. If you ever get the chance to see Gone With The Wind on the big screen don't miss it!

The full catalog of Godzilla Movies!!!!. I'm 53, when I watched Godzilla as a kid I thought they filmed them in Japan because it would be too scary if the story took place in the USA.

5 years ago we moved to Georgia. I can't even bribe my teenagers to watch Gone with the Wind. I loved that movie as a kid. And the book was even more great. What a shame. Video Games are a scourge

Most of these old movies can be seen for free because the copy-rites have long since expired. Mostly a bunch of old 30-60s "B" movies that just weren't considered to be good enough or too old to bother renewing the copy-rites on.
But many of them are pretty good and bring back lots of memories.
YouTube is plumb full of 'em. ;)

You must become a member and login to watch. Nowhere in their Privacy Policy does it say that they will not share your personal information.

I would suggest using a second non primary email address if using this site. And make sure your anti virus is working well. If they ask for address and phone number, don't join unless you want that kind of attention.

Not saying that this is bad web site but I've had problems with others such as viruses.

i have a roku tv. thru that i get utube on tv.
i just type in ''1950s sci fi'' n i get tons of great b movies

YouTube has many old movies in their entirety. Many new TVs and laptops have HDMI ports, and if so all you need to do is plug in your laptop to your TV via an HDMI cable and watch anything on YouTube (or any other websites) if you have no other way to do it.

I did, and still hated the movie. However,
I also and finally got to see a John Wayne ( and other classics) on the big screen for the first time. They were: The Searchers, The Great Escape, Battleground and a couple others.
