A request from Fred UPDATE post #41

Just spoke with Fred. The medicine he is taking makes him very drowsy and he doesn't like that side effect but it does help him reduce the pain a bit. This being a weekend he will be looked at by the medicos next week.

His internet is still down. Spectrum called him earlier and set up an appointment for a tech visit on Monday afternoon. A little while ago he got a robo-message cancelling the appointment with no reason given. He is a bit frustrated.

He looks forward to reading the well wishes here after he gets reconnected.

He very much appreciates your concern.

I’m keeping you in mind as you go through this Fred.

The meds make you sleepy, it better to be sleepy than in that a level of pain. You don’t get points for bravery on this.

I know he had to cancel his last week's physical therapy appointment because of the pain. I don't think any of us can realize how painful sciatica can be unless we've gone through it. Miss Judy and I have Fred in our prayers and hope they can get this thing taken care of quickly. If I remember correctly, he's got an MRI scheduled, but it's none too soon.

I've had one sciatica attack that lasted 30 minutes. That was enough for a lifetime, so it's hard to imagine how one could endure six weeks' worth. Fred's obviously a tough old bear, but I hope his sciatica is resolved quickly and permanently.

I was blessed to speak with Fred briefly on the way to work this morning. He is having a tough time. But I will be durned if I was not uplifted in getting to talk to him, rather than me doing the cheering up!! That is the kind of person he is.

I know we have some strong, Godly people here. Please reach out to the Heavens on Fred’s behalf. No man deserves it more or would be more appreciative.

May God bless this fine gentelman.

Just when you start to get really down, I run into a Great group such all of you, I've named some years ago the "The Loungers:D,"and it's one hell of a group!!

I want to Thank each and everyone for you comments good wishes.

Bless each and everyone of you..
Fred
