LGS had a few cans of titegroup left when I was there a few days ago. Quick check on the net and it's right there with one of my all time favorites AA-2. Picked up a can as my stock of AA-2 is down to less than one pound. Have never loaded titegroup, how close does it compare to AA-2?

I'm curious also....

I found Titegroup during the shortage. A small variation in charge weight makes a big variation in pressure. I hear that Titegroup burns hot, but I'm not sure how it compares with Acc #2 or even Bullseye for that matter.

AA 2 is a good pistol powder, can be used in most calibers for moderate loads, burns clean.

I've loaded thousands of rounds of .45 ACP, 9mm, .38 SPL, .357 MAG, .44 MAG with TiteGroup and never had a problem. Yes, it's hot, and is smoky with lubed lead boolits. Yes, it's dense and this means very small charges, so you need to be mindful of double-charges. But if you're not watching for double charges you need to be buying your ammo (sorry, but it's true).

TG is good, fast powder and I recommend it, but I don't have any experience with AA2 so I can't help there.

Couldn't have said it better, agree 100% Add 380, 44 spl, 40 S&W, and 45 colt to the above list also.
