Chip (aka Iggy) is one of my dearest friends. We enjoy reminiscing about our days as lawmen, and the cattle business.
We would engage it thought provoking conversation on some idee of a holster design, while enjoying a steak a T. Joe’s.
I attended the first Carlin Ranch BBQ and prairie dog shoot out. Linda (Itchy) fix one of the best brisket that this old cowboy ever dined on for sure and certain.
Chip and I like old Smith revolvers and 10mm 1911s. Tooled holsters and gun belts, mostly fashioned like back in the old days.
He and I had penned an ol’ story er two.
Chip was the master of cowboy colloquialisms. He was the kind of man, a man like the men that I grew up in the shadow of back in the old days.
Chip will always be not only one of the ‘good ones’ but one of the greatest friends I have known.
I am truly proud to have been called pard by him.
My prayers will continue for Chip and Linda
