"Accidental" Shooting at Local Gun Range

Stuff like that is why I don't got to public ranges. Far too many armed idiots out there.

I let my membership lapse at a club range because of the new "cold range" procedures they adopted. They were patently unsafe for those of us shooting rifles with blind magazines. Discussion about the "committee's" views on safety was not encouraged, and I did not even get a "get lost and good riddance" response when I informed them why I was quitting. Idiots are everywhere.

 I had a membership at an indoor range near me and quit going there because of safety. I will predict that someone will get shot there some time in the future but it won't be me. Don

yes, Dennis was wearing safety glasses, but the richochet of the "jacket" material from the bullet went in over the top edge of the glasses as he was looking downward, loading his own gun...the 'spent jacket' piece went in the soft tissue over the eyelid, just below his eyebrow, made a small incision, just barely even bled, but it spun over and behind his eyeball and took out the optic nerve............
