Adapter needed for SW40VE assesory rail

I got a Protec light for my SW40VE which is designed for a picatinny rail. Meaning, it needs a rail with a groove. As you know, the SW40VE has a rail but is wider than the weaver mount and doesn't have a groove or grooves. How do I adapt this light to my handgun. Is there an adaptor on the the market or do I get out my dremel tool and/or the epoxy, JB Weld, duct tape etc....LOL

there is also a rail adaptor you can buy off amazon to give it a normal style weaver/pic rail
