Advice, M17 & M18-4

I have a M 17(K22) that I have had for 55 years now, and just picked up a nice 18-4 early last year. Plan on keeping both.

Keeping them both is definitely the correct answer! My son is now old enough to shoot with me and we both enjoy the time together very much. One unexpected consequence is that we now need TWO of each gun!

Very difficult decision! Both revolvers are outstanding examples of American craftsmanship and deserve all the respect and praise they have garnered. If the 17 has a 6 inch barrel so my preference would be to keep the 18. That would be the only deciding factor for me.

Thank you for the research! I finally found the right page in my Standard Catalog and I think it's actually 1952--will try to link below. Sound advice.

As others have said, a high condition 5 screw k22 will have more value than an 18-4...but you should keep them both, of course
