Gentleman,

After a long an arduous search, I recently acquired a well used 64-3 3”. Mechanically, it’s in beautiful shape, cosmetically it looks like hell. Need some suggestions on 1) restore, 2) refinish, 3) bead blast, 4) leave as is.

I’m not a real fan of stainless guns. But since I sold my pristine Model 13 3” a few years ago, I’m back into the old-school-wheel-gun mode.

Thanks

Kick back & stick around. There are lots of knowledgeable folks here who are more than willing to help in any way they can. Me, I just link to threads in which somebody else has already done all the work.

Take care,

Got a reply from Brad at CCR. He suggested a fine bead-blast to give it a matte, but even finish. keep'em coming in.

Definately bead blast. Cost you about $50. Along with a new set of grips and it will look like it came from the PC. Did one and wow!
