ALG act trigger?

I'm looking to replace my stock trigger for something better but can not spend a lot of money, seem that this trigger has good reviews so has anybody tried this with your 15-22?

While it gets decent reviews, before I bought an ACT I would check and see if Bill Springfield will work on a 15-22 trigger first:

That being said, if Bill does not work on 15-22 triggers, the ACT is a solid budget choice, as well as an RRA if you wanted to move into a 2-stage...

I got the QMS for my 15-22 and the ACT for my AR15... great triggers for the money along with some JP yellow and red springs... great cause I like a single stage trigger... for the money you won't be disappointed... just my 2 cents...

I've used an alg act on a 15-22 with jp yellow springs. Much better than the stock trigger even with a 15 minute trigger job.

I came across some info about the jp yellow springs causing light primer strikes have you had any trouble?, do I need to get the oversize pins?

I have not had any issues with light primer strikes and the ALG ACT trigger. Check the dates on those posts; there were issues, IIRC, with the firing pin in earlier revs of the 15-22 that have since been corrected.

You can always put a heavier hammer spring (or the original) on if you end up with light strikes.

I used the pins that came with the alg trigger but they look identical to the stock pins except they appear to be NiB like the trigger and hammer.

JP sells a spring package with the yellow trigger and red hammer spring set... thats what I went with on my ALG trigger install and have had no light strike issues... works great...

Extra power "red" hammer spring is overkill on a .22. Heck I put a set of "yellows" on a Geissele Super 3-gun trigger and got a 1.25# trigger with no light strikes. But I did not consider it a safe trigger either because it would not take much pressure even on the side of the trigger to set it off. I ran it for a couple of months in competition but eventually took the "yellows" out and back to a 2.5# trigger.

No the "duty" or "service" spring kit on the JP website would be over kill... thats why the "red" hammer spring is a happy medium... not to light not to hard... somewhere in the middle...

Well I did installed the spring set and out of 400 rds I did had about six light primer strike, I did a little more research and found that JP also has a enhance reliability spring set that would yield a decent trigger pull so I order it and will install as soon as I get it. Looking forward to test it and see what happens.
