2. WITHDRAWN Here's a collector grade First Issue Colt Agent blue 38spl. snubnose with only a single small holster mark on the left muzzle and otherwise not a mark on her. No wear of the leading edges of frame, cylinder, barrel, trigger guard, or straps otherwise. Not even a visible cylinder rotation line! Overall at leat 98% finish, and mint original factory stocks.

No box or docs, but an outstanding vintage Colt snubnose that will not disappoint and is priced more than $200 under current Blue Book value.
The pics will say it all.

3.***SPF*** Here's a 32 Hammerless 1st Model, also called the New Departure by S&W and the Lemon Squeezer by wags. The original nickle finish has flaws but is still lustrous and overall I would grade this one as SCSW "Fine" and NRA Antique excellent (all original parts, 80-85% original finish, clean shiny bore, mechanically excellent).

SN is 65931.

I've provided lots of pics so you can determine condition yourself. I believe these to be the original hard rubber stocks.
According to the SCSW, all 32 Safety Hammerless models below SN91400 were made before 1899 and are thus antiques.

***SPF*** Asking $235 shipped.

4. ***SPF***: Extremely nice S&W Pre-Model 28 Highway Patrolman in 98% condition (just about perfect except a thin rim of wear at the muzzle) with original diamond magna stocks also in excellent plus condition and numbered to the gun. SN is S1323XX (1954-1955 per SCSW, the first year of production of the Highway Patrolman).
***SPF*** $700 shipped from my FFL to your FFL or C&R, a cost to me of about $35.

5.***SPF*** Here's a relatively early (1951) 2nd Issue Postwar Colt Detective Special, 38 spl, 2"bbl. snubnose. Original Colt Royal Blue two-tone finish in about 92-93% condition,. This one will be sold with the stocks shown which are in good++ condition as well as the original Coltwood stocks it was shipped with by Colt in 1951 which are in excellent condition, but have shrunk enough that they do not fit perfectly (not shown). The stocks shown on the gun would have shipped with this model beginning about 1953.

The 2nd Issue (postwar) Detective Special was made from 1947 until 1972 so this is an early one. SN is 5872XX (1951 per Proofhouse).

The finish shows scattered small handling marks each about the size of a pinhead along the outer edge of the sight channel on the left, as well as on the frame here and there, with some marks on the bottom of the end of the barrel. There is no wear of the leading edges of the frame or cylinder, and just pencil-tip thin wear of the rim of the muzzle. The trigger guard has no loss of bluing. Screws are not buggered. The bore is clean as a whistle, action is smooth, timing is fine, cylinder lock-down is bank vault tight, and there is no end shake. This one would make a great BUG.
All in all a high shooter-grade snubbie. No box or docs.

**SPF** Now $395 shipped insured Priority Mail from my FFL to your FFL or C&R, a cost to me of about $35.
