I've been reading the different posts about after-market triggers for my Sporter. My only use of the gun is recreational target shooting and just having a lot of fun with it. I would consider spending the money to put a nice target trigger in it, such as Giessle(probably mis-spelled that). I noticed that Jerry Miculek endorses the "Gold" trigger from A.T.C. Anyone use one or know of someone who does?

If the SHTF, I can always put the stock trigger back in so I don't ND the darn thing.

Regards,

Hobie

For a pure target rifle, the Geiselle SSA or SSAE is a good choice. The American Trigger you mentioned was designed specifically for three gun applications where fast is the main concern. Geiselle also makes a three gun specific that is very highly rated.

American Trigger

I have one and love it. I first changed the factory springs to lighten trigger pull. It lightened it but felt mushy. So read about all the drop in triggers and decided on the American. Love it. I have never regretted it.

Thanks!
