ammo for MP15-22

I have read the manual for the MP15-22 and the ammo it recommends.

Can anyone tell me if the Remington 22 Yellow Jacket HP that is classified as a Hyper Veolicyt Hollow Point will fire accuratley through the MP15-22 ?

You would probably have better luck with more and better answers to this question over on the S&W sub forum ( Smith & Wesson M&P15-22 ) where there is plenty of info on the 15-22.

That being said seeing as I have a S&W M&P 15-22 most Remington ammo isn't the best ammo to be using in the 15-22 and the Yellow Jacket truncated cone bullet isn't going to feed well or at all in the 15-22 which is pretty fussy on the ammo it will work well with. Check your owners manual to see what ammo is or isn't recommended for your rifle.

I guess you can try the Rem. Yellow Jacket ammo if you want but it isn't the ammo I would try or use. I have found that CCI MiniMag HP ammo works great in my gun and most others over on the S&W M&P 15-22 sub forum.

I've shot American Eagle (Federal) and Federal blue box copper plated through mine. About 2500 rounds and no feeding problems and very few duds.

I highly recommend using copper plated.
