I don't think it is a matter of timing. Throughout the day, as more folks have posted the same links (shopping carts), I immediately clicked on the items. Every single time, the items show out of stock.

I'll hazard a guess, that this method has demonstrated an error in their software. Since some folks actually get product, but many don't, I'm betting this method is picking up on when some product enters their warehouse... but prior to it entering their inventory system (what you see from the item page). Thus some get their order filled... others don't.

You notice they removed the entire link to rimfire ammo from their pull down menus? I bet they realize they have a problem.

I've talked to them. They know about the exact work around and asked me if I was using it. I played dumb but here's the thing. I pitched a giant fit one day, talked to a supervisor, and was finally told the ammo was in fact in stock despite the fact that multiple people said it wasn't. Once I complained enough that they were discriminating against me, they caved and somehow found ammo they insisted they didn't have. Not only is that odd, but it makes me very suspicious about what exactly they are doing over there.

I know it's a mad 22 ammo grab right now, but I've had enough with them. Other people are getting their ammo just fine. I had them completely remove me from their system. Deal or not, their way of doing business is odd, at best.

I was able to order the Winchester 1000-pack earlier today, but I still haven't got an e-mail verifying the order. Usually the e-mail is almost instantaneous. I suppose that means my order will be cancelled. I'm still 3 out of 4 filled if it is cancelled. The CCI Tactical arrived today.

Point is, it doesn't... at least all of the time. Take today for example, when I clicked checkout, 2 items went into my cart... the Blazers & M-22s. Yet, at any time you click on those actual items, it takes you to their real page & the page says out of stock.

Last time I tried this, my orders were cancelled. Today, I have yet to get any email from them regarding the order. When I look at my account, it still says "In Process".

You are seeing the same as me generally, most of my orders have been cancelled as well. As others have stated, they definitely have an ecommerce issue, whether it's intentional or not who can say. I have the same order as you today, Blazers and M-22's, currently pending. Yet my order of M-22 from yesterday was cancelled with a notice of "sold out for season". Yet they are listed again today. It seems to cycle over and over. I've stopped counting on any Cabelas ammo order, but I do get excited when I see PSA or Natchez, they always fill their orders .

i just looked at my order history from cabelas. i have ordered ammo from them 35 times since march 2013. 1 they canceled and 1 i canceled due to backorder date. guess i have had good luck and all thanks to the ammo thread.

I too got in on the M-22's this afternoon. I had to choose between the 500 ct. Blazers or the 1000 ct. M-22's... so I went with the quantity over quality

So far no confirmation email from the Big C. But the order still shows as In Process and In Stock on my Order History.

So when the limit qty to 1, how are you ordering multiple bricks? It doesn't reduce the qty to 1 when you checkout?

Good question.

I place multiple orders. I placed 2 separate orders yesterday for 1000 rds each of the M-22. They are now showing to be shipped.

Today, the 1000 rd M-22 box were showing back in stock along with the 500 ct Blazer. I placed 2 separate orders of 1 - 1000 rd M-22, and 1 - 500 rd Blazer each under my email address. I then logged out of Cabelas and had my wife log back in and place an order under her email address.

Well, what do you know? I tried the link yesterday afternoon and it seemed to work fine. I got the 1k M-22 and ordered some PMC .223 to make the reduced shipping cutoff price. I got the confirmation in about 20 minutes and my ship date is alleged to be March 5.

We shall see. Thanks for the info, Liberty Head.

I received multiple email confirms this morning regarding my additional orders from yesterday that they are all being shipped out. Even my wife's order is being shipped. So that's another 4,500 rds coming my way.

I have not had one order from Cabela's cancelled after using the link with the ammo in the cart or on gunbot.com.
Now, someone can take my place on this ammo grab.

I much prefer paying the cabelas shipping costs than lining up at the gander which is not too far from me. I have done so 4 times in the past year ( the 1st 2 for 9mm a while ago and twice recently for 22). I was embarrassed to be there recently. People rushing to the ammo section like they were starving for 22.
The ammo thread and cabelas have been great over the past month and hopefully it continues!
