The reason the internet is populated with Idiots comes from the fact that the US of A is now populated with Idiots. And a lot of them have government supplied laptops, internet connection and free food so they can sit at home and be idiots on the computer instead of out working for a living.

I think that everyone qualifies at times. How much time spend being an idiot is where the separation comes. Very seldom to every waking minute.

I'm not so sure the demographics of your usual gun forum include many individuals with government supplied laptops, internet connections and free food. Let me say working the last ten years in the retail firearms business makes me worried.
Almost everyday while a customer is filling out their 4473 I get asked, "what does this mean" when it comes to questions 13 and 14....what is your State of residence and what is your country of citizenship?
Really people, are those hard questions to understand.

Hey, you guys left the electronic door open and I got in! Across the board (pun intended) we seem to be quite civil in comparison to many others and I rather enjoy it here.

I've been working for 50 years. I have "acquaintances" that don't and drive better cars, have bigger parties, go on more extravagant vacations, and show up at the local ER when they have a sore throat. I'm going to get "stupid" classified as a "terminal illness" and go on SSDI. With all the associated "perks" it would pay better than my present gig (Imagine my surprise that if I went on SSDI now I would get a couple hundred more a week than if I work the next 5 years and quit at 67). Yep, I'm terminally stupid, send the check. Joe
