A third of the famous Pointer Sisters passed at 74.

I am a huge fan. She (along with her sisters) performed for presidents, royalty and with the industry's top tier.

The wife and I saw the Pointer Sisters perform in Las Vegas (1985), let me tell you, the whole venue was ROCKING! Never before or since have I experienced such incredible LIVE performance.

Anita had a great voice! She was the featured singer in "I'm So Excited", and the VEVO video on YouTube shows the sisters at their best. RIP Anita.

I listened to the above videos and, although my computer does have external speakers, the sound nor the video even begins to reproduce even ten percent of the experience we felt. And yes, we were not under the influence of any mind-altering drugs or alcohol. You had to be there; the sound system was nothing short of spectacular. Just had to point that out for anyone who wonders what all the fuss is about, based on what they see and hear on the above videos.
