You all have been busy today! Pretty good drift going. Some sun today and no rain had me busy,busy. Talked to a young man today who is taking a road trip to Newfoundland. That could turn into an interesting trip I think. Wouldn't want to go in the winter but I would like to see it I think.

Clicked on, my eyes immediately crossed and I regained my senses 2:42 later. I think I drooled a bit.
I do this at work. If I need to blow off steam or clear my head and I find myself in chlorine storage, north generator room or some other large space I'll loudly sing from the gut whatever nonsense happens to be rattling around in my head. Always makes me feel better, especially if someone catches me. I'll do a soft shoe or a Jolson flourish and they quickly leave.
People there think I'm nuts and they're probably right.

Back in 2008, worked on inspecting the relining of the 108" main interceptor sewer line in Cedar Rapids. This work was being done where the line was next to the Cedar River just upstream of the sewer treatment plant. The line was approximately 10'-15' below ground. Several times when we had the line open for inserting the liner pipe the water would turn bright blue. Quaker had unintentially released Capt. Crunch cereal coloring! We would notify the plant and they would call Quaker. The story we heard was multiple rear ends would be raw! Guess the food grade coloring was expensive. Was interesting watching things floating by. Several of the construction workers found jewellery, gold, diamonds etc. on other projects. There was daily pools $$ for sighting and catching certain things (forum rules!
) floating by. Construction workers are a drifty bunch !

Just checking in before I conk out for the night. Sort of dozed this evening until it was time to go to bed for the night. This flood stuff has been hard work and I am feeling older than usual,we may not be out of the flood threat yet per the weatherman! Drift on,don't worry be happy.

But it's already 52 degrees and sunny so it will be a great day to get this done!
Need to get the Corvette out of the garage and to the inspection station, maybe I can do a top down cruise!

Good evening drifters. It's 67 in the desert and the day is coming to an end. Okay it already did, it's night. Been a good day on the drift today lot of stuff posted today you folks were busy as usual.
